Our Year 2 pupils have been learning all about mechanisms recently and had a go at making their own sliders to help understand how they work.
The class used colourful card, scissors and glue to create their sliders, and then decorated them with drawings and pictures of animals. The pupils were all keen to see how their finished projects would move and it was lovely to see them turning their creativity into something practical.
