Our lovely new reading garden is up and running for our pupils to enjoy books and let their imaginations run free during break and lunchtimes! Our garden features an amazing outdoor house we have named 'The Retreat' to be used as a reading and wellbeing hideaway, complete with storybooks and cosy areas to sit and read, by yourself or with a friend!
Here is what our pupils have to say so far...
Lily told us: "This garden is really brilliant for expressing your creativity and interests. It is a peaceful place to relax. I can see this being a wonderful buddy reading corner where we can share books together."
Sam explained: "The garden is so nice and peaceful and it will be amazing to read in there on a summer's day."
"The garden is so pretty and it helps you feel motivated to read" Megan added.
Henry said: "It's really fun because there are lots of books to read and you can pick any book that interests you. You might find new books you like. The shed is really cool to spend time with friends. You can also just use it for your own space to relax."
Sounds like a success already!
