What an amazing day we had for World Book Day last week!
Children at home and in school got dressed up for the occasion and shared their favourite characters and stories. Our focus this year was on oracy and the children produced some incredible virtual book reviews for us to add to our library.
The day started with a special World Book Day assembly and ended with Mystery Reader storytime, where each class received a call from a different teacher!
As a Rights Respecting school, we know that all children have the right to information (article 17), the right to relax (article 31) and the right to be the best we can be (article 29). We think books are amazing because they allow children to enjoy all these rights!
We most certainly love reading at Browney and are thankful for all the wonderful books we have in our school...
