Last term, we had a very friendly, furry visitor at Browney in the form of a lovely yellow labrador named Coby.
The children were thrilled to meet Coby and were particularly fascinated to learn that Coby could only see in black and white. After many strokes and cuddles, the class took Toby out for a lovely walk in the yard, taking it in turns to hold the lead.
The visit was part of the 'knowledge and understanding of the world' curriculum, which covers everything from places and people, time, living things and non-living things.
Coby thoroughly enjoyed all the love and attention, so much so, that he is already planning another visit - we look forward to it! Take a look through the pictures above.
