Say hello to our new fish, Simba, Mufasa and Narla who will be living in the fish tank in our Reception and Year 1 class from now on.
Miss Bell collected the three new fish at the weekend after deciding that Jerry, our current goldfish, might like some company. After a lot of thought and discussion, we decided they would be named; Mufasa (the black goldfish who is also the biggest), Simba (the spotty one) and Narla (the white one with the orange head) after charaters in The Lion King.
Since their arrival, we have completed observational drawings of them and have written letters to the fish to tell them about our classroom.
All in all it has been a very exciting week for all involved, in particular for Jerry!
