Last week, our school football team took part in a challenging 5-a-side tournament at Soccerena.
The talented team played skilfully and with determination against some really challenging opponents and came out with two wins, two draws and one loss - narrowly missing out on the semi-finals.
The final scores were:
- 8-2 Silvertree
- 3-3 St Hilds
- 5-4 Neville’s Cross
- 5-5 Brandon
- 3-5 Framwellgate Moor
Well done Arryn, Tamzin, Owen, Connah, Ryan, John-Paul and Jorge for their fantastic effort and for being brilliant ambassadors of our school.
Our footballers were also the first group to wear our brand new Browney Academy rain jackets (pictured above). Many thanks to ‘A Wright Flooring’ for the sponsorship.
