Debra is enthusiastic about education and believes education is key to building strong foundations to success thus allowing young people to reach their full potential. She believes that all young people should have access to a first-class education, in a safe, nurturing, and caring environment, and feel part of a whole school community.
Debra has lived in East Durham all her life and is married with a teenage daughter of whom she is immensely proud. She is delighted to be part of the governing body and is looking forward to establishing strong links with Browney Academy, as well as bringing her experience of working in schools and being a parent herself.
