Our Reception class and Year 2 enjoyed a visit from Nathan and his Dad this week to teach them all about Chinese New Year. Mr Zhang talked about the animals in the Chinese zodiac and Nathan demonstrated how to draw a Chinese dragon for everyone to copy.
Year 2 furthered their celebrations by decorating the classroom with Chinese lanterns and dragons and enjoyed some traditional Chinese food including rice, spring rolls, noodles, prawn crackers, dates and grapes.
Everyone had a great time celebrating and learning all about Chinese New Year.
