Our friendly playground leaders held an assembly this week to introduce themselves to everyone and explain why their role in school is so important.
Every break time and lunch time, the group prepare a fun range of activities for the rest of the children.
Thomas said “My role as play leader is to help people, teach them new skills and be a friend if they need one. I really enjoyed making the power point and telling the whole school about the job we do. We take our job very seriously but the number one rule is to have fun!"
Layla said "This is the second year I've been a play leader I like helping people make new friends and learn new games"
Harrison said “I am new play leader, I am enjoying it. I have made new friends. I like being part of a team."
Ewan “I like being a playground leader so I can help people and make them feel better if they aren’t having a good day. I love playing games and sports and teaching people new skills. "
