Year 4 and Year 5 learned vital life-saving skills this week when two St John's ambulance employees, Emily and Michelle, visited our school for a first aid training session.
Pupils learned how to react to an emergency, how to put a non-responsive patient in the recovery position, how to deal with a choking patient, what to do in the event of a nose bleed and how to bandage a wound. While we hope that none of these actions will be needed, our children are prepared to be able to put their knowledge into practice when necessary.
Well done everyone!
