Our Reception children recently talked about different ways to care for our planet. The class talked about the importance of not dropping litter, recycling, turning off lights and growing our own fruit and vegetables.
Reception were excited to learn that bees make honey, pollinate crops and are very important to our planet. To link with their minibeasts topic, the children made Earth Day seed bombs from recycled paper to plant in our school garden to help all the creatures who live there. We can wait to see the seed bombs grow alongside the peas and carrots.
