Last week we enjoyed Parliament Week which aimed to teach our pupils about parliament and how the country is run.
The children learned about British values which include: democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and respect and tolerance of the beliefs of others. These values link back to our Rights Respecting articles such as Article 12 - the right to an opinion and Article 13 - freedom of expression.
As anticipated, the children were fantastic and as a school, there were wonderful discussions, the chance to vote and opportunities to debate on a range of issues.
We have had another great week empowering our children and letting their voices be heard!
