Last week, Year 4 visited Segedunum Roman Fort and Museum to support their classroom learning of the Romans.
Their amazing day started with an action-packed workshop where the children became the Roman army's newest recruits. They marched with spears and shields, practised battle formations and tried on some extremely heavy kit!
After lunch, the group explored the galleries, taking part in interactive exhibits before visiting the gift shop for a souvenir.
They rounded up the trip by looking around the remarkable remains of the fort and climbing the viewing tower to get a spectacular view.
The children were so enthusiastic about their learning and had a wonderful day to remember!
