We had lots of exciting activities going on in school last week in celebration of the European Day of Languages.
Year 3 had an excellent afternoon learning about the Italian language, culture and most importantly, food! They made their own Italian pizzas with authentic ingredients!
Meanwhile in Year 1, the children learned about France. They found out the French words for various foods and made their own French flags. They also had a tasting session where they tried some delicious foods like croissants and baguettes. Some brave Year 1 children even tried French cheese, brie and camembert!
Well done all!
