Last week, our Year 5 and 6 class took an exciting trip to Newcastle to visit the Discovery Museum.
Pupils brushed up on their knowledge of World War 2 whilst exploring a wide range of information ranging from real ration books and gas masks to WW2 shelters.
The children were then tasked with purchasing food using a ration book, giving them an insight into portion sizes and how extreme the rationing was during WW2.
Museum staff were extremely impressed with our impeccable behaviour, engagement and questioning. Well done all!
