Our bright sparks in Year 3 and 4 have ‘switched on’ to their latest science topic - electricity...
Over the last few weeks, children have been learning about what electricity is and how it was discovered. They have identified which appliances use electricity in their homes and learned how to keep themselves safe. They then used this knowledge to create posters for young children with top safety tips.
This week, children have had a great time constructing circuits consisting of wires, bulbs, buzzers and even motors, and later in the term we will use our circuit knowledge to create special Easter models with an electrical surprise… They’re in for a shock!
