We held a Rights Respecting Fundraiser Day in school last week, raising a brilliant £439.50 to support those in need around the globe. The proceeds will be used to buy ‘Inspired Gifts’ through UNICEF, which have been chosen by our pupils. These life-changing gifts include a community water pump, vaccines, therapeutic food and emergency shelters, all of which will allow some of the most vulnerable children to access their rights. A massive thank you to everyone who donated. The event has had a huge impact on the pupils, who now feel empowered to advocate for the rights of other children around the world.
