Continuing their Marvellous Machines learning topic, Reception are focussing on emergency vehicles. What better way to expand their knowledge, than with a visit from PC Claire Kerr in her police van alongside her police dogs Jet and Ben!?
Before our special guests arrived, our children thought carefully about questions to ask and during her visit, told PC Kerr what they had learned about her vehicle and the equipment and machinery she uses in her job. Despite the gloomy weather, our children had a wonderful time strengthening their knowledge and of course, seeing the police dogs.
