Today, on the 11th day, of the 11th month, at the 11th hour, Browney stopped still to commemorate those who fought on behalf of their country, those who have died and those who came home.
Prior to our two-minute silence, our Year 6 children delivered a thoughtful assembly, outlining the importance of Remembrance Day and why this day is so significant in the British calendar. Before the event, Year 6 worked hard to create a remembrance wreath, commemorating all soldiers who have lost their lives to war.
Lest we forget.
