We are absolutely thrilled to announce that one of our wonderful pupils, Ava, has been nominated for a Young Heroes award from Durham City Police.
Over the last year, Ava has helped care for her grandfather when he fell ill and she has also raised lots of money for Macmillan Cancer Support when her grandmother was diagnosed with the disease. Ava is a credit to our school, her family and the community and was delighted to receive a visit from the Police Interceptors as it is one of her favourite TV shows! We are very proud of her tremendous efforts during what has been a really difficult time for everyone - a huge well done, Ava !
