This week, pupils have been working hard to perfect their entries for the Brandon and Byshottles Parish Council School Arts Competition 2019.
The theme 'art and culture in County Durham', has inspired pupils to create sculptures, silhouettes and stained glass inspired by Durham Cathedral and collages and sketches of popular landmarks in the north east.
The sunshine room has been transformed into an art gallery where next week, judges will come to present book tokens to the winning entries.
