We had a very eggciting end to the half term, filled with lots of fun Easter themed activities.
It wouldn't be Easter without an egg decorating competition, judged by Father Carl, who was in school to present an Easter celebration assembly. The entries we received were outstanding. Well done to our winners:
- Year 6 - Max
- Year 5 - Summer
- Year 4 - Calum
- Year 3 - Maisie
- Year 2 - Summer
- Year 1 - Halle
- Reception - Lacey
- Parent winner - Year 1 Eleanor's Mum.
Our lovely school cooks, Mrs Corker and Mrs Bone, ran a 'guess the bunny's name' competition with winners from each year group given chocolate eggs as prizes. Well done to everyone who entered.
Friends of Browney held an Eggbola raising over £200 for our school fund which will be put towards new school iPads. Thank you for your support.
Finally, Years 4 and 5 visited St Andrew’s Methodist Church to take part in a workshop - the 'Easter Journey'. The children enjoyed an interactive ‘journey’ through the last week of the life of Jesus from Palm Sunday through to the Last Supper, Good Friday and to Easter Sunday.
Have a superb Easter everyone see you in a few weeks!
