Our Reception children had a wonderful time when they visited the exciting Broom House Farm.
After making their way through a muddy field, the children reached the woodland area where they found lots of signs of winter, like fallen leaves.
After speaking with the farm leader about animals that hibernate, the children worked in teams to build hibernation houses from moss, sticks, leaves and acorns for animals to use during the winter.
Before heading home after a fantastic day, the children had fun on tractors and some of the group held chickens!
