Today our Year 6 pupils delivered our school assembly which allowed children across all year groups to think about those who lost their lives during World War I and also reflect on the servicemen and women who have fought and given their lives for our country.
The children shared some meaningful readings, poems and sang together to remind us of the important reason we wear poppies.
Our Reception class have also been learning all about why we buy poppies in the lead up to today. The children even made their own poppies using their handprints as leaves. The class also produced some fantastic writing and made their own poppy biscuits.
