Last week was a busy week for our Year 2 pupils, which started with a walk around Browney as 'street detectives'.
The group explored the local community and had lots of fun applying their knowledge from the classroom to the outside world! The children followed a map and looked for local landmarks such as St John's church.
Later in the week, Year 2 visited New College Durham to take part in a multisports festival with pupils from other schools across County Durham. They took part in lots of fun games including football, hockey and throwing and catching games. The activities were all designed to develop their skills, stamina, balance and coordination.
The pupils had a great time and learned a lot on their adventures!
