After a local graveyard was damaged, Browney Academy pupils stepped up and took part in a community planting morning to restore Meadowfield Cemetery.
In April, a car was driven through the cemetery, seriously damaging several headstones and leaving the local community deeply saddened. Using funds raised by local residents, school children planted flowers and decorated the cemetery to help restore it.
Their efforts to support the community were shown on ITV News yesterday.
Well done to all who took part - the children were very well behaved and respectful throughout the morning.
