We want to be a rights respecting school!

We have just embarked on an exciting new journey at Browney Academy; working towards becoming a rights respecting school!

The Rights Respecting School Award is an initiative run by UNICEF UK, which encourages schools to place the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child at the heart of its ethos and curriculum.

To get everyone talking about children's rights, Mrs Martindale hid lots of golden tickets in and around school, each with an article from the UNCRC on. The classes are competing to see who can collect a full set of golden tickets. Again, doing what we do best - having fun whilst learning!
