Browney remembers!

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One, staff and pupils took part in various remembrance day activities last week.

Reception class made delicious poppy biscuits whilst Year 4 and 5 created a magnificent poppy display and read Michael Morpurgo's new book - Poppy Field. Year 2 got arty and created brilliant poppy paintings.

We also had a very talented parent, Mrs Ayley, in school who worked with children to create an amazing poppy themed balloon-arch decoration with balloons donated from our local Tesco.

It's was certainly a busy but rewarding week. Well done everyone.

I have a little poppy, As red as red can be, To show that I remember, Those who fought to make me free!
