Earlier this week, Reception had a special visit from PC Claire Kerr and her super cute police dog Jet.
Jet has been a police dog for six years after he was found by the Dog Trust abandoned when he was only one. He has now been trained and is a very clever police dog who helps others every day using his clever nose to find dangerous things.
Claire taught us lots of important lessons such as; police officers are our friends and they are there to look after you and keep you safe; the important phone number to ring in an emergency and road safety.
An important message she spoke to us about was ‘don’t talk to strangers’. With Halloween approaching, Claire told us not to knock on any doors of people we don’t know and to always take an adult with us.
Huge thanks to Claire and, of course, Jet for coming in to meet us!
