Miss Day's Year 5 and 6 class have been working with paints, textures and outlines this week, culminating in these amazing sugar skull art pieces!
Children in Year 5 and 6 have been enthusiastically learning about all things Mexican since returning to school this year. Investigating the traditions of Dia De Las Muertes, the ongoing protection of valuable nature reserves and the intricate art of sugar skulls. Year 5 and 6 have even started making their own displays in Spanish - Yo hablo Espanol!
The fantastic peices of work are now up on display in the classroom - well done.
