Our Year 6 class have had a fantastic couple of nights away from home on their residential trip to Barnard Castle last week.
The class left on Wednesday morning, eager to learn lots of new skills in the great outdoors. They stayed for two nights in The Hub at Barnard Castle and experienced raft and den building, gorge walking, kayaking and orienteering. See photos here.
The class were an absolute credit to our school and their families; their team work, attitudes and behaviour were exemplary; a number of staff commented on their positive mature approach to outdoor education.
Many thanks to Mr Vasey and Mrs Middlemas for giving up their time to take the children away.
