This week we celebrated Chinese New Year in style with some fantastic activities in our classrooms and a wonderful celebratory dinner!
Made in traditional Chinese style, our super cooks laid on an authentic chinese curry and rice, sweet and sour pork with stir fry noodles and even topped it off with crispy prawn crackers! Dressing for the occasion, our lovely cooks made it a meal to remember for children and staff alike.
Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most important holiday in the Chinese calendar. The celebrations start on the eve of the first month and last for around 15 days. It is a time for family reunion and celebration.
