Huge well done to Toby who won the Taylor Shaw pumpkin challenge today after designing a fantastic pumpkin with the special addition of glitter!
Children were asked to design a Halloween pumpkin to be carved with Mrs Redmond and proudly displayed in the dining hall. Toby's design won and as you can see above, the finished pumpkin looks fantastic.
The rest of the pumpkin was used in recipes for the children to try at lunch time; creamy pumpkin risotto and delicious pumpkin muffins.
The risotto was a huge hit with many of the children asking for second helpings!
