On 18th October this year, Michael Bowey, who attended Browney from 2004 – 2010 would have been 18 years old.
Sadly, Michael passed away in 2011 and, on his birthday, we remember him for the wonderful child he was. Michael touched lives at Browney and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Staff who taught Michael remember him coming to school with a cheeky grin and demonstrating great resilience and strength despite the difficulties he faced. He was a special young boy with a thirst for knowledge and lives in the memory of staff and students through a commemorative bench in our playground.
Michael loved the time he spent at Browney and we feel very privileged to have been a part of his life.
