Pupils at Browney put on their dancing shoes on Friday and took part in the Tortoise and The Hare creative movement workshop with Northern Ballet.
The pupils enacted animals from the story and recreated their movements in dance.The workshop reflected the vibrancy, creativity and storytelling seen in Northern Ballet productions and also provided a fun and accessible introduction to the story and performance of Tortoise and The Hare.
Sophie said "It was a brilliant afternoon, I loved creating movements for animals and moving to the music."
Mrs Ribchester said “It was a brilliant opportunity for the pupils to work with Northern Ballet. Hopefully pupils will be inspired to go to the Gala Theatre to see the Tortoise and The Hare performance in February.”
